1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ScooterBug's services, including our website and rental equipment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Rental Agreement

When you rent equipment from ScooterBug, you agree to the following:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
  • You will use the equipment only for its intended purpose
  • You will not allow unauthorized persons to operate the equipment
  • You will return the equipment in the same condition as received, normal wear excepted
  • You will report any damage or malfunction immediately

3. Reservations and Payments

All reservations require a valid credit card. Payment is processed at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed reservations will be honored at the quoted price.

4. Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 24 hours before delivery: Full refund
  • Within 24 hours of delivery: 50% refund
  • After delivery: No refund for unused days

Cancellations can be made through your account dashboard or by contacting customer service.

5. Damage Waiver

ScooterBug offers an optional Damage Waiver for $6 per day. This waiver covers accidental damage up to $500 per rental. The Damage Waiver does not cover intentional damage, theft, loss, or damage caused by misuse or negligence. Without the Damage Waiver, you are responsible for the full cost of any damage to the equipment.

6. Liability

ScooterBug is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages arising from the use of our rental equipment. Users assume all risks associated with operating mobility equipment. We recommend reviewing safety guidelines and operating instructions before use.

7. Equipment Care

Renters are expected to:

  • Keep the equipment clean and dry
  • Charge electric equipment as needed (charger provided)
  • Store equipment in a safe location when not in use
  • Not modify or tamper with the equipment
  • Not use equipment in prohibited areas (pools, beaches, etc.)

8. Delivery and Pickup

ScooterBug provides complimentary delivery and pickup at most Orlando, Las Vegas, and Anaheim area hotels and resorts. Delivery times are scheduled based on availability. Please ensure someone is available to receive the equipment at the scheduled time. Additional fees may apply for deliveries outside our standard service area.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Changes to Terms

ScooterBug reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
